Explore Questions, Beliefs, and Experiences

Some experiences feel meaningful. Others leave us uncertain. This guide offers ways to reflect, learn how different traditions approach these questions, and talk with people who may see things differently. You do not need to identify with a religion to take part.

Start with your own question

  1. Describe what happened. What did you observe, and what remains uncertain? It is fine to say “I do not know.”
  2. Consider more than one interpretation. A personal experience can have spiritual meaning to someone without proving the same conclusion to everyone.
  3. Ask respectfully. If you want to talk it through, share only what you are comfortable making public. Read other questions first, or start a conversation of your own.
